The Town maintains recreational areas which allow many of the following activities and more:

  • Hiking
  • Picnicking
  • Relaxing

  • Sports
With acres of varying natural surroundings, the Mount Airy parks have been carefully planned and developed for your outdoor pleasures.

Hours

Parks are open from dawn to dusk.

Individuals or organizations can reserve the baseball/softball field, or the basketball court by clicking on the appropriate button below.  Note that local youth organizations reserve on a recurring basis.  There are additional requirements for recurring reservations that are noted on the reservation form.

East West Park

East West Park is just passed Prospect Park heading west from Main Street.  It has the following amenities:
  • Baseball / Softball Diamond
  • Basketball Court
  • Bike Trail
  • Parking
  • Picnic Tables
  • Playground
