Located at 714 Rising Ridge Road, the Mount Airy Community Garden has been thriving since its launch in 2022, bringing neighbors together to cultivate more than just crops.

Want to join the community? Plot rentals open every January!  Email dheartley@mountairymd.gov or click here to contact the Garden Manager for information. Gardeners must pay a small rental fee, follow garden rules, and participate at community events. We are growing a garden community, not just tomatoes!

This garden isn’t just about planting seeds; it’s a place to:

>Nourish your mind and body.

>Grow your own sustainable food.

>Put down roots with neighbors.

>Foster respect for our natural environment.

Together, we’re building a healthier, more connected community. Our mission is to improve nutrition, encourage physical activity, enhance community engagement, and boost safety and economic vitality for all residents.
