Stephen Domotor and Lynne Galletti will be sworn in by the Mayor on Monday, May 17th at 7:00 p.m. to fill the two vacant Council Member seats. The ceremony will be held at Town Hall, 110 S. Main Street, Mount Airy, MD. The public is welcome to attend, however due to covid restrictions Town Hall seating is limited to 17 with priority to family members of the newly elected officials. A short, special council meeting will be held following the swearing-in for the Council to vote on the Council President and Secretary. The Mayor will also be making his recommendations for Commission liaisons. Other miscellaneous items may be addressed.
