The Town of Mount Airy will be going purple for the month of September. During the August Town Council meeting, September was officially proclaimed as Recovery Month to honor and celebrate individuals who are working toward maintaining sobriety from substance use. Recovery Month aims to promote and support treatment and recovery practices, a strong and proud community and service providers and community members who work to help others on their recovery journey.
