[ARCHIVED] No Bags in Recycling

No bags in recycling

As the holidays wind down, your recycling bin may be overflowing. Please do not put excess recyclables into trash or plastic bags. All recycling materials need to be loose in a container. Residents can use another box or bin for the additional items.

Using plastic or trash bags causes havoc with the sorting machinery and the items will most likely be thrown away as trash as the items may be seen as contaminated and not picked up by the hauler.
