SWEARING-IN OF RECENTLY ELECTED MOUNT AIRY COUNCIL MEMBERS FOLLOWED BY A SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING MONDAY, MAY 15, 2023 7 p.m.
Jason Evans, Karl Munder and Tim Washabaugh will be sworn in by the Mayor on Monday, May 15th at 7 p.m. to fill the three vacant Council Member seats. The ceremony will be held at Town Hall, 110 S. Main Street, Mount Airy, MD.
A short, special council meeting will be held following the swearing-in for the Council to vote on the Council President and Secretary. The Mayor will also be making his recommendations for Commission liaisons. Other miscellaneous items may be addressed.
The public is welcome to attend.
