As a part of the annual Celebrate Mount Airy block party on Aug. 26, Main Street will be closed from Prospect Street to Paradise Avenue from 4 to 9 p.m.
There will also be no parking in the Municipal Lot, the Railyard or the Caboose parking lot. Vehicles will be towed at owner's expense.
Parking will be available at Mount Airy Elementary and Middle schools. A free shuttle will be running from the elementary school to take residents to the event.
