PLANT OPERATOR
Town of Mount Airy
Full-time
Duties to include: Perform operations & maintenance of water plants and the wastewater plant. Perform sample water collection and lab analysis, process adjustments, chemical feed pump adjustments and preventative maintenance. Will be required to obtain a Class 5A Wastewater & Class 3 Water Treatment licensing. Already licensed a plus! Assist in snow removal. Required to work one weekend a month, 4 hour shifts. On the job training will be provided. Excellent benefits package including participation in Maryland State Retirement. Salary will commensurate with experience.
