NOTICE - WATER OUTAGE PLANNED
Town of Mount Airy, MD
Outage Time: 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Outage Date: Friday, December 22, 2023
As part of the Prospect Road Water Main Replacement project there will be a scheduled outage. Door hangers or flyers will be placed at all affected areas several days prior. Please note that all residents in the following areas will be without water during the outage:
1. East Development (East Rd, Contour Rd, Sycamore Rd, Northview Rd, Village Way)
2. Donalds Ln
The line will be flushed after the work is complete, possibly causing some temporary discoloration to the water. Once water is restored the affected residents are encouraged to run their water a
few minutes until the water is clear.
