This year, the Historical Society of Mount Airy and Mackenzie the Caboose are joining forces to collect pet food for the Morgan Chapel UMC Pet Food Pantry.
On weekends during the month of December from noon to 4 p.m., bring your pet food donations to Mackenzie the Caboose and place on the desk inside the caboose. You can even bring your donations to meet Santa at Jingle & Mingle on Dec. 13 from 5 to 8 p.m. We hope to help a lot of pets this Christmas season.
While in the caboose, enjoy the decorations. The theme this year is children and pets. Be sure to look at the Christmas tree completely decorated with pet toys and pet snacks. Don't forget to do the seek and find puzzle with the Christmas village.
