The Mount Airy Board of Supervisors of Elections and Town staff will meet on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. to work on the upcoming election. The public is welcome to attend.
The Board of Supervisors of Elections shall convene a citizens' nomination meeting on the third Tuesday of February 2025 for the purpose of opening nominations for elective Town office.
Nominations shall remain open until the Board of Supervisors of Elections meeting on the fourth Tuesday of February 2025 at which time the Board shall accept additional nominations from the floor and accept nominations submitted during the open nomination period. The Mayor and two Council seats are up for election. The Town Election will be Tuesday, May 6, 2025.
