To celebrate the Mount Airy Community Garden's brand new greenhouse, the Town will be hosting a ribbon cutting ceremony at 10 a.m., March 27 at 714 Rising Ridge Rd.
Made possible through a Sustainable Maryland Action Grant, the greenhouse will support sustainability through native plant propagation and hands-on environmental education. This space will serve schools, volunteers, and residents while expanding access to native plants that benefit our wildlife and pollinators.
While on site, please tour the gardens to find out more about our growing initiatives, including the Food Forest project and the new NWF Wildlife Gardens being installed to support pollinators and habitat.
