The Mount Airy Historical Society is creating a cookbook. If you have a family recipe that has a story or anecdote relating to Mount Airy. They have already collected 100 recipes and are looking for 100 more! Especially in need of beverage, pie and soup recipes. Deadline to turn in recipes is December 4th. Please submit recipes to bjrunkles@gmail.com using the Recipe Submittal Form. The cookbook will be dedicated to grocery stores past and present.
