"A huge thank you to the citizens who responded and to the Growth Task Force with Wendy Rimbey as chair. While I was proud to be Chairman of our original 2007 survey, this survey met and greatly exceeded data analysis from that survey. Yes we improved!  Several pending issues can now be addressed as noted by you our citizens!! Our plan is to perform this detailed survey every 10 years to also assist with Master Planning updates due in a 10 year basis. The Town Council are proud and appreciate this out reach." Summary of Results:

• A positive Survey response rate of 26%.   For context, survey research literature indicates typical survey response rates of 5 – 30%.
• Good representation of views for neighborhoods spanning the town of Mt. Airy.
• 933 surveys (49%) contained detailed, thoughtful written comments.
• Summary results are presented in Growth Task Force Town Survey Results Slide Presentation 2019-202 .  Refer to the Growth Task Force Town Survey Report 2019-2020 for the full presentation of all results and written comments; comparisons to 2007.
