The Town of Mount Airy has some very exciting news to share!
We have been working with two local chainsaw artists who will be bringing their creativity and carving talents to Rails to Trails West beginning soon.
If you hear chainsaws over the coming days, weeks and months, these sounds are the artists at work. Both will be creating pieces based on wildlife from the Chesapeake Bay region. The artists will only be working on trees that have reached the end of their life span.
If you see the artists working, please provide them with ample space to keep you, your pets and the artists safe as they work their creative magic.
We can't wait to see this project come to fruition.
