The Town of Mount Airy will hold a budget work session for the fiscal year 2025-2026 budget on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, starting at 6:00 p.m. at Town Hall, 110 S. Main Street, Mount Airy, MD 21771.
The public is welcome to attend, however no public comment will be allowed.
Following the budget work session the council will go into open session to hold a closed meeting, as allowed by STATUTORY AUTHORITY TO CLOSE SESSION, GENERAL PROVISIONS ARTICLE 3-305(b)(1) To discuss the appointment, employment, assignment, promotion, discipline, demotion, compensation, removal, resignation, or performance evaluation of appointees, employees, or officials over whom this public body has jurisdiction; or any other personnel matter that affects one or more specific individuals; Subj: salaries and personnel issues with regards to the FY 2025-2026 budget.
