To the parking lots ... for the third straight time!
The Mount Airy Farmers Market will again be held in the parking lots of Watkins Park due to rain predicted for Wednesday morning.
We are asking everyone planning on going to Watkins Park on Wednesday to please park in the lot by the basketball court. We need to keep the other lots open for the vendors in the afternoon.
If the rain stops and fields are OK to play on for sporting events, Parr's Ridge Elementary School is an option for parking after 4:30 p.m. St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church on Center St. has given permission for guests to park in their lot on this market date only.
An updated list of vendors will be posted later today and on Wednesday morning.
