Take a break from hugging your hard working air conditioning system to come to the Mount Airy Farmers Market on Wednesday!
Cool down with some lemonade, gelato and smoothies while you check out more than 40 vendors including produce, baked goods, Mexican food, hot dogs, mushrooms, microgreens, elderberry products, permanent jewelry, honey, flowers, pickles and more!
The market will be open from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday in Watkins Park, 615 Center St.

While we love seeing dogs at the market, please make sure to keep them in the grassy areas of the park for this market. The pavement will be super hot and we don't want their paws to get too hot.
Also, there are free cool water fountains by the bathrooms (brick building on the hill by the softball field) if anyone needs hydration.
