Mount Airy Dog Park (MADP)
Rules
• Pick up after your dog and dispose of waste in the containers
• Dog also must be current at the time of use on all vaccinations.
• Owners of any dog using this park must have a leash available at any time for use outside the fenced area.
• No more than two dogs per owner.
• No aggressive dogs. An “aggressive dog” is any dog that bites, growls or otherwise acts aggressively without provocation towards another dog or user of MADP and is in any event one that has bitten or attacked a person or another dog without provocation in the last two years and/or at any time in the past at MADP. Dog owners are legally responsible for any injury caused by their dog.
• No female dogs in heat.
• No spiked collars or any attachment on dogs that might injure other dogs.
• No food of any kind.
• Dogs cannot be left unattended.
• Children under 14 years old must be supervised by an adult.
• No bicycles in this park.
• No footballs, baseballs, or other large athletic balls/toys are permitted. Frisbees, tennis balls and smaller dog toys are allowed.
• Owners should stop their dog from digging in MADP.
• Entrance into this park by any dog shall constitute implied consent of the dog’s owner to all MADP rules.
