To join the fun of National Park Week Mount Airy Parks & Recreation will be hosting "Love Your Park Week" April 18th to 26th, 2020. We will have fun activities to highlight each of our 10 AMAZING Parks. 1. East-West Park – 1115 Prospect Road (20.5 acres) 2. Prospect Park – 107 Prospect Road (12 acres) 3. Celebrate Mount Airy

Mount Airy, Maryland announces the 4th Celebrate Mount Airy brought to you by the Town of Mount Airy. This year we will be celebrating 125 years!

Mount Airy Duck Race

The Rotary Club of Mount Airy has teamed up with the Mount Airy Volunteer Fire Company, and The Town of Mount Airy to raise money for the Fire Company, Rotary scholarships, and other community projects. All net proceeds from this event will be given back to the Mount Airy community. So, what is this event all about? On September 27th at 2PM, we will hold a Duck Race by the fire department activities building. Thousands of ducks that have been “adopted” will race to the finish with the winning duck earning the adopter $1,000. We will have over 20 prizes for both random winners and the fastest ducks.
