NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON
AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 112
OF THE TOWN CODE ENTITLED “ZONING”,
ARTICLE II ENTITLED “GENERAL REGULATIONS”,
SECTION 112-11 ENTITLED “SIGNS”
On June 5, 2017, the Town Council of the Town of Mount Airy will hold a public hearing at Town Hall, 110 South Main Street, Mt. Airy, MD 21771 beginning at 7:15 p.m. regarding a proposed amendment to the aforementioned Section of Chapter 112 of the Town Code entitled “Zoning”, Section 112-11 entitled “Signs” for the purpose of setting forth the total area permitted for attached signs calling attention to a business, service, or industry on certain premises that front multiple public streets and/or primary parking areas or public entrances. A full copy of the proposed changes, Ordinance No. 2017-6, is available for review at Town Hall during normal business hours.
