NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE CARROLL COUNTY WATER RESOURCES ELEMENT MASTER PLAN FOR THE PORTION RELATED TO THE TOWN OF MOUNT AIRY 

Date of Hearing: February 23, 2026 Hearing Time: 7:00 p.m.

Notice is hereby given that pursuant to Land Use Article, Title 3, Subtitle 2, Section 3-203, of the Annotated Code of Maryland, the Planning   Commission for the Town of Mount Airy will conduct a public hearing on Monday, February 23, 2026, beginning at 7:00 p.m. in Mount Airy  Town Hall, 110 S. Main Street, Mount Airy, Md. 21771.

The purpose of the public hearing is for the Planning Commission to receive any comments from people wishing to speak on the 60-day review draft of the Water Resources Element (WRE) for the Town of Mount Airy portion of the Carroll County Water Resource Element.  The full copy of the Carroll County Plan is available for review at Town Hall.

In addition, if Town Hall is closed for any reason on this date, the Town will send out and post a ZOOM link for this Public Hearing to ensure this time-sensitive Public Hearing is held on the 23rd of February 2026.
