NOTICE OF A PROPOSED

REAL PROPERTY TAX RATE INCREASE

For the taxable year beginning July 1, 2024, the Town Council of the Town of Mount Airy proposes to increase real property tax rates from $0.1662 per $100 of assessment to $0.1962 per $100 of assessment.

A public hearing on the proposed real property tax rate increase will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, May 6, 2024, at the Mount Airy Town Hall located at 110 S. Main Street, Mount Airy, MD  21771.
